Job Overview
We are looking for an Account Manager to service clients from our Portland office. You will be responsible for managing and growing client relationships within multiple accounts and driving programs/projects from concept through production. You will become the clients "right hand" and think and act in step with their needs. To the client, you will become indispensable and advocate on their behalf to internal teams.

Essential Functions

  • Drive programs and projects through all phases of development (concept, budget, schedule, creative review, production, etc.).
  • Work daily with creative teams and provide appropriate insight into client marketing needs.
  • Ensure that projects stay within budget and on schedule.
  • Develop estimates and schedules for assigned projects and track changes regularly to the client, the account team and production.
  • Create opportunities for deeper collaboration and the complete utilization of the agencies wide range of integrated services.

Required Skills

  • Coordinated multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously, scoped out project details, keep projects moving on schedule.
  • Communicating with the utmost tact and professionalism (via email, phone, and in-person) with both team members and clients.
  • Encourage others to meet their responsibilities and scheduled commitments.
  • Demonstrated experience managing integrated programs involving interactive, collateral, promotion, and print.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills including giving outstanding presentations.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
  • 5+ years experience within a small-medium sized advertising/design agency or similar creative services organization.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.

Bonus Points

  • Experience managing programs with mobile, video, application development, social media, or retail components.
